About me
My name is Emanuele, and Parfumality began as a personal project because I wanted to understand how Artificial Intelligence works and explore its potential.
The idea of discovering perfumes based on one’s personality came to me many years ago (at least 7): the heart of the idea was the same as today, but the execution and the structure of the site were completely different. Today, artificial intelligence allows a semantic analysis of text and a weighted calculation across three different methods of analysis (your description, the sliders that measure your character, and the words you recognise yourself in), which was unthinkable seven years ago. Parfumality combines these three methods to identify the perfumes with the best affinity.
